Hints & Boosters: Topic Hint, Reveal Words and Magic Wand
Word Connect Association gives you three kinds of help, and they are not equal. Using the right one at the right moment saves coins and keeps your lives intact. Here's what each one does and when it's worth it.
The three boosters

Topic Hint
The Topic Hint tells you what to look for without telling you where. On a 9-row board, learning that one of the rows is "Sedimentary Rocks" rather than just "Rocks" often solves the problem on its own, because you can now split BRECCIA and LIMESTONE away from GRANITE and BASALT.
Use it: as your first booster on almost any stuck board. It's the lightest help, so you still get the satisfaction of solving.
Reveal Words
Reveal Words highlights two tiles that belong to the same topic. That is exactly what you need when the board has twin topics like Snakes and Reptiles orBirds and Birds of Prey: once you know which two go together, the rest of both rows usually falls into place.
Use it: when you know the topics but can't decide which tile goes where.
Magic Wand
The Magic Wand colours all four words of one topic, basically solving a row for you. On a small board that's a waste, since solving one row out of four is most of the level. On a 9-row expert board, removing four tiles can turn a wall of 36 words into something readable.
Use it: on 8–9 row boards, or when you're on your last life and can't afford a failed attempt.
The free hint
The game hands out a free hint on a timer; you'll see a "1 free hint ready" message when one is available. Get into the habit of using it rather than letting it sit, since it recharges only after it's used.

- Topic: shows the topic name for one row, like a Topic Hint.
- First letters: shows the first letter and length of each word.
- Words: the full answer for that row only.

Which booster is the best in Word Connect Association?
The Magic Wand gives the most help because it colours all four words of one topic. It is also the one you should save for the hardest boards. The Topic Hint is usually the best value.
How do I get boosters for free?
The game gives you a free hint at regular intervals, and coins from levels, milestone chests and Daily Puzzle streaks can be spent on boosters. Some rewards are also available through optional rewarded ads.
Does the Magic Wand work on picture levels?
Yes. Since the latest updates the developer says the Magic Wand works on every level, including levels with picture groups.
